I agree the materials in DIY stores are programmed. You get pieces in certain sizes, made of certain materials so certain possibilities are presented to you. What is available actually starts to create particular types of behavior. It seems to me that you are positing two things. Using DIY materials references the nuclear family and in your video you've also made a sort of family comprising people and objects. You are creating different possibilities for these everyday mass-produced components, which are part of a culture of templates. So tell me about the family ...
